This Counter-Sniper Rifle was designed by Yatamutchy Corporation in 29475
as a next generation Counter-Sniper Rifle. The data gathered from corporate
and military field operatives, people like Damon Dartt, called a design that
could withstand the elements and deliver enough punch to put down even heavily
armored targets while at the same time maintaining high accuracy and relatively
high rate of fire. The X-3 features Skin Com technology (5th edition, with
Sparkle-Pack), Yatamutchy scope with movement predictor as standard - and
4 rows of stock-mounted two-tone nano-filters for skill augmentations. The
X-3 is yet not for sale on Rubi-Ka. |

Really an agents rifle, the X-3 can be used quite effectively by soldiers.
The big bonuses about using a rifle like the X-3 is that they are 100% skill
weapons, pure range, and that rifle does not conflict with any of the core
soldier implants. The X-3's excellent normal/crit damage also are a
big draws to the weapon. Aimed shot can easily get up to 10k on an
X-3 but not as often as a full auto from a Heavy Suppressor. Aimed
shots can be used without concealing yourself, but it takes practice to get
the timing down correct. In PvP the gun isn't used that much due to
lack of specials and slow equip time. |
