Personal Training

  Many of the new soldiers without battlefield experience often have problems training their skills to a sharp enough point that the harsh environment that Rubi-Ka demands.  This area is devoted to helping such soldiers in their personal training efforts.  Contained are tables detailing the core soldier skills as well as breed maxes for those skills.  Secondary skills are also available.  Study wisely young grasshopper..


*All numbers based on level 200 with maxed abilities. As far as I can tell they are accurate.*

Primary Core Skills
These are the most commonly raised and useful skills to a soldier. While all are useful, you have to choose carefully. IP at lower levels is hard to come by. Later on you'll have plenty of IP to spend around.

These are the skills most commonly raised later on in a soldier's life when the IP becomes more abundant, things like matter and biological metamorphosis. Useful skills for more specific niches are also listed here.

Tips
Just a couple things to help you out so your skill choices will be as good as possible

- Have a plan.  Have a plan on what kind of soldier you want to be and stick to things as close to that plan as possible in the early going. If your planning on being a rifle soldier, don't go pumping up skills like fling/burst/full auto so you can alpha monsters. For what you get out of it, its not worth it and there are better places to spend IP.
- Although the numbers here for skills arn't all that different for the various breeds, remember that the 15 pts an atrox is short in nano skills means he has to wait until Tl 6 to case his best nano programs.
- If you don't care if your using the absolute best nanos or about looks. Pick Atrox. The extra health you will enjoy.
- If you want to be proficient in everything (as well as look uber :P) pick solitus. They have no real problems to deal with.
- If you want the best weapon skills and highest attack rating for many types of weapons, pick Opifex.
- If you want lots of nano and nano skills pick Nanomage. You'll be able to cast everything easier and earlier (especially with shades/vests/etc) at the cost of HP.
- Make a plan. Its important so I listed it twice. No point wasting IPR points if you don't have to. Never know when you'll need them.
