DeCranum's Corona MK 2 Armor
Guide
While not really a guide for soldiers alone, DeCranum's armor adds
a lot of HP which is very useful to soldiers particularly when they use Total
Mirror Shields. Since it is a question that is asked a lot i'll just
quickly write something up for it.
Getting DeCranum's Corona MK2 Armor
Getting MK2 armor as its called, is nothing more then killing lots
of the same types of mobs in hopes of them dropping a piece of armor for
you to take. While it use to take 8 hours with a good team for everyone to
get a set, Funcom has nerfed the spawn rate of the armor and the mobs at
least twice since it was added to the game. So if your looking for a whole
set, I suggest you be ready to set aside a good amount of time. All you have
to do is kill the Den Smugglers inside the Smuggler's Den over and over and
over and over... Now you can fly out to Southern Foul Hills and fight your
way there, or you can take the easy way like everyone else and like I will
show here.
First go to Borealis to the coordinates 720*700 which should be right
in front of a door (see picture). This is the exit of the Smuggler's Den
(Teleporter in the den's last room bring you inside that building). Don't
freak, your suppose to be here. Actually getting inside takes advantage of
a small bug that happens when you fly polymorphed into some static dungeons.
Fortunately if you fly into the exit of the smuggler's den you'll be 'teleported'
to an area inside where conveniently the smugglers spawn (They look like
they are wearing MK2 armor). Unfortunately this little trick only works if
you are turned into a Parrot (Not Reet) or Pit Lizard. So before you come,
go bug...er.. tip a friendly Adventuer for Calia's Form Parrot or Pitlizard.
 If you go in the door and find a small blueish room (picture
to the right) then it didn't work. Chances are you are in Reet form
not Parrot. Leave the blue room and go back to Borealis. Check
your buffs and try again.
Once inside just kill and kill. Given enough time you will get your
full set of DeCranum's Armor with the health bonuses it offers. It may take
a few trips to collect an entire set though, best times to go are at night
when less people are on. Should always be going with a team although higher
level people sometimes solo.
*Note* Use this method at your own risk. I had once heard rumor
that getting in via this method was a mini-'exploit'. While I can not confirm
that, I can tell you that of probably tens of thousands of people to go in
that way I have never heard of anyone ever getting 'punished' for it. So
its unlikely that anything would ever happen anyway.
